Dr. Menachem Horowitz specializes in low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, joint pain, and sports injuries. Menachem received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in New York, USA. Menachem participated in post-graduate courses in the USA to receive a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy.
Before making Aliyah, Menachem practiced as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in Long Island, NY. Menachem now provides home care treatment and care, in the Jerusalem and surrounding areas. Menachem provides a hands-on and specialized treatment approach including, deep tissue massage, joint mobilization, muscle energy techniques, stretching, and manipulation to all areas of the body. Menachem develops a personalized exercise program with video demonstration and instruction to ensure that his clients are performing the home exercise programs correctly.
Menachem’s goal is to reduce his clients pain, help them get back to doing what they love, and improve his clients overall quality of life through a holistic, in-depth, and systematic approach to physiotherapy.

Menachem Horowitz ‘the man with the golden hands’ is by far the most thorough, attentive, and caring physiotherapist that you are going to find in the world.
He is personable and performs a thorough and detailed evaluation. He has a comprehensive approach and is sensitive to all the nuances of the body.
I was suffering from lower back pain. I could barely bend over or pick my bag up from the floor. He didn’t only check my lower back but also looked at my upper back, my posture, my leg flexibility. He even found a difference in the heights of my legs. I never even knew that one of my legs was a little longer than the other.
He explained everything in a detailed fashion and made an accurate prediction of how many treatments would be needed to recover from my injury. He also explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. I was nervous about my legs being different heights but he explained that it’s only a reaction of muscle imbalance. After a few treatments I felt much much better. He fixed all of the muscle imbalances. He provided me with an amazing exercise program with video tutorials. He also followed up with me after the treatments to see how I was holding up. After each treatment I felt better and better until I felt back to myself.
My work entails me to be active and it’s crucial that I stay in shape for my work.
It was the best decision I could have made to work with Menachem as my physiotherapist.
